TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY
We ship from South Africa to most International destinations, using International Mail Service (standard service) provided by the South African Post Office. International parcels are registered but not insured. Insurance can be offered using International Courier Parcel Express, this option needs to be requested at point of purchase for a QUOTED DELIVERY fee. Please note that International Registered Mail does not provide tracking service during transit once it has left South Africa.
Within South Africa, the domestic counter-to-counter parcel service is used (standard South African Post Office service). This option includes track and trace. Counter to counter courier service can be offered using Speed Services Couriers. This option needs to be requested at point of purchase for a QUOTED DELIVERY fee.

Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight and format of the package.
At checkout the weight range your order falls into is displayed as total shipping. You can then choose to go for Post Office shipping and make the purchase at the stated charge or fill in the special requests contact form advising us of your shipping requirement so that we may quote you. Although we have taken great care to capture the weights of our products accurately, we cannot guarantee that your order’s exact weight will match the approximation used by our system to quote you for Post Office shipping during the checkout process.
Your orders tracking ID/registration number will be emailed to you once the order is complete and has been dispatched. Your African Aromatics account will reflect the status of your order including tracking status.
Standard Service in South Africa is 3 to 5 working days. For shipping to Europe, America and Australia, 10 to 14 days and to other international locations 2 to 3 weeks. The delivery time with standard shipping option is NOT guaranteed. Although we make every effort to ship all orders within the announced delays, their delivery is beyond our control and depends on the postal service. Unforeseen circumstances could prolong the delivery time. Late delivery is not a ground for refund or cancellation of the order. However if your delivery has not been delivered after the estimated times shown above, please contact us highlighting your order number in the subject line so that we can follow up on the matter. Some orders may take much longer to arrive. Please read our Refund Policy procedure below in case of non-delivery or loss of parcels.
Please note that you may have to pay customs duties when your order arrives in your country. This is out of our hands and we cannot be held responsible if you need to pay customs duties to receive your parcel.
